Prophet's Room

The Prophet's Room offers a quaint setting for pastor's, teachers, ministers or members of the clergy's family who are visiting in the Waycross area. Bethesda House of Mercy is situated in  historic downtown Waycross and in a lovely 100 year old Victorian style residence.  The Prophet's Room is at the top of the stairs in the two story home.  The Prophet's Room is equipped with WiFi service and a local phone is available. All linens are supplied. The room has a private full bath. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are available on request. Accomodations are on a donation basis and on a first come first service availability. A lovely front porch with swing and rockers is open for guests of the Prophet's Room. Also guests may have their meals served in the dining room, in their rooms or beside the restful koi pond.

Waycross is a wonderful area in which you can take a break from the normal rat race and experience new and exciting conversations with God's people.  Visiting the Okefenokee Swamp Park is a relaxing adventure for the whole family. Other interesting sites include the Heritage Center and Obediah's.  Waycross is within easy driving distance to Valdosta, GA and Jacksonville, FL.
