Bethesda House of Mercy

Bethesda House of Mercy is a nonprofit organization designed to help meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of hurting and disadvantaged people in Waycross, Ga., and the surrounding area. The mission offers a weekly Sunday morning worship service and after-service lunch for underprivileged residents within its own neighborhood and surrounding community.
To build community among the poor, Bethesda House of Mercy also hosts special annual celebrations such as a Christmas Party, Valentine’s Day Banquet, and Mother’s and Father’s Day Awards Dinners or Cookouts. Clients of Bethesda Recovery are encouraged to participate in the events and to practice the principles of showing love and service to those who are poor and downtrodden.
